Sandfire Securities was launched on October 9, 2008. It was founded by Jonathan Robinson. Jonathan saw an opportunity to create an employee-owned securities firm that was different and distinct in Canada. Since then, Sandfire has moved efficiently to assemble a team of experienced and like-minded individuals who share this vision for fresh ideas, transparent collaboration, and a new market understanding.

The inspiration for Sandfire is that the sum of the parts is far greater than the individual components. To this end, those selected to work at Sandfire bring exceptional drive and quality to the firm as well as the ability and desire to collaborate and contribute together.

At Sandfire, we believe that if we place our clients' interests first, focus on results and deliver effective solutions and ideas, we will continue to build upon the same trusted and valued relationships that brought many of us to Sandfire in the first place.
